鈥淚 feel fortunate to have been a part of the Electrical Technology program here at 91制片厂 State University Northern (91制片厂N); coming here has offered me many opportunities that I wouldn鈥檛 have received otherwise. We covered a wide range of electrical knowledge, that provides a solid foundation to build on, whether it be in residential, commercial, or industrial sectors. Even though our class size was large and labs were often crowded, my professors were able to give instruction on a personal basis and made time for students and accommodated the students鈥 ability to come in for additional help if need be. We got hands-on experience using many different tools and equipment that we鈥檒l need to use in the field, like the hydraulic and mechanical conduit benders, wire/cable tugger, rigid pipe threader, rotary hole-making and knockout sets, and more. The program also provided good knowledge into the mathematics involved in doing electrical calculations, we learned about AC theory, how to calculate conduit fill, and how to do a load calculation for a single or multi-family dwelling. I think the program here at 91制片厂N does a good job at preparing students for what it will be like to work as an electrician and provides some good contacts so they can go forward and enter the electrical field.鈥
